"SWFC SKY GATE," the new and enhanced entrance of the SWFC Observatory at B1, is now open to the tourists after Spring Festival. Four high-tech attractions now enrich the Sky tour offered by the SWFC Observatory and open a 'gate' for tourists to feel the real Shanghai.

An intriguing 'moving window' follows along with visitors. Inside this window, seasonal 'area information' about Shanghai is displayed, making it an invaluable reference for tourists' sightseeing pleasure.

In order to more fully enjoy the world's number one observatory, we will soon introduce the Shanghai World Financial Center and its aspect through powerful images displayed on an immense 180 degree screen.

On Feb 18, more than 300 representatives attended the '2011 Jaguar & Land Rover Dealer Conference' held on the SWFC 94F, and on Feb 23, Hewlett-Packard held its SPJ Big Bang conference in the SWFC Forum and used the 94F Observatory on for its press briefing.
The SWFC's modern, flexible and aesthetically pleasing conference and meeting facilities are designed for international forums, luxury brand exhibitions and a variety of other top-notch events.

The renewed SWFC office lobby was opened before the 2011 Spring Festival allowing more daylight into the area. Some art works and design projects are presently being considered for placement in the office lobby. The creation of a city rich in culture and the arts is one of the primary missions of Mori Building.

The SWFC Art & Design Store is now offering a new original souvenir – a 1/1000 scale diorama model of the SWFC building. Two materials can be chosen – paper or PET. It takes three to four hours to make a model by hand.

The SWFC will turn off its lights in support of Earth Hour on March 26 between 8pm and 9pm. It is the third time for the SWFC to be part of the world's largest voluntary action in support of environmental sustainability. In 2011, the core theme of Earth Hour were extended beyond climate change to overall environmental sustainability. The photo shows the night view from the SWFC during 2010's Earth Hour.
