SWFC now on Weibo

SWFC now has its own Weibo (microblog): http://weibo.com/swfcshanghai. The microblog will be updated daily to provide information to SWFC's stakeholders on interesting topics and various events in the complex.

SWFC shop & restaurants renewal - May

The renewed SWFC B1 and B2 restaurants and shops will start to offer casual dining with faster service and reasonable prices in May. B1F now has even more casual dining options than ever before, while B2F features several Chinese dining options, with some Western and Japanese influences.
Two Japanese restaurants will open on May 3 in B1F. Torahachiken has a range of interesting menu options, which include its own take on the hamburger, curry and organic eggs in an atmosphere of retro dining. Goemon, one of the most popular pasta restaurants from Japan, uses original Italian-made pasta, Spanish virgin olive oil, flavored with parmesan cheese in dishes that can be eaten with chopsticks.

F1 and Shanghai Auto Show at SWFC

Cars were a hot topic in Shanghai in April with the F1 Chinese Grand Prix and Shanghai Auto Show. On April 13, F1 driver Jenson Button, as the guest of Exxon Mobil, visited the SWFC. And on April 18, Mercedes-Benz officially launched its newest A-Class model in the SWFC Forum 4F. Citroen had an exclusive exhibition for its new DS5 model on the same day at the bottom of the SWFC.

Most popular souvenirs in SWFC Art & Design Store

SWFC Art & Design Store has just launched its original designed pouch, along with the goods featuring Hustle Panda and special collections from PolkadotShanghai.
The SWFC-shaped souvenirs are always the first choice for the tourists. The top three products sold in March were the SWFC-shaped bottle opener, silver key holder and crystal model. Look out for new arrivals coming soon.

SWFC maintains first-rate evacuation procedures

SWFC holds regular fire drills throughout the year to ensure that people working in the complex are familiar with evacuation methods and routes. SWFC has undertaken a wide range of both hardware and software measures to prevent, withstand and recover from disasters. Eight floors - 6F, 18F, 30F, 42F, 54F, 66F, 78F and 89F - are specially designed as fire protection zones to serve as tenant and visitor evacuation areas in the case of an emergency within the building. These floors feature a pressurized fire-prevention system, which utilizes outside air to prevent smoke from penetrating the evacuation floor areas.
